Registration and appointments
It is free to register as a patient with the Mickel Health clinic. You can then book a private consultation of your choosing when you need it.
Dr Mickel consults by either phone or video depending on your preference. You simply book an appointment using the button above.
Appointments take place using the phone or secure video. Both types of appointment are equally simple. The video software is industry standard and built-in to the Mickel Health appointment system. Dr Mickel will send you a link by text and email which will connect you directly prior to your appointment.
It is your choice whether details of your consultation are shared with your NHS GP. This includes any referrals that you request, Private or NHS. While Dr Mickel cannot influence the waiting times for your specialist appointment, he will make your referral the same day as your appointment.
Private prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacist of your choosing on the day of your appointment.
Home visits are not currently provided by the Mickel Health clinic.
If it is felt that you require blood tests then Dr Mickel, with your permission, will write to your NHS Practice to request them on your behalf.

**CHI Number**
Community Health Index number (CHI) is a unique identifying number for every patient in Scotland. It is found on all your medical records. It would help us if you have a copy of this number for our records as we use it in any referrals or correspondence done for you. If you do not have a copy of it then your NHS GP Practice can give you it easily. It is a ten digit number made up from your date of birth dd/mm/yy plus 4 other numbers at the end.
